I am fellow human being passionate about living an authentic life. What does this mean? I am passionate about learning & discovering what are the gifts and talents I was born with so that I can use them to create the life I am destined to live.
I believe we all come to this life with a toolbox so to speak and if we all invested a bit more time looking inside instead of focusing outside ourselves we would live lives that make our heart sing and skyrocket our sense of purpose, abundance and contribution to this one life we have to live.
I trade trinkets for travel experiences. I love to immerse myself in new cultures, I love languages and most importantly I am another human being such as yourself figuring out this thing we call life.
I know in the core of my soul that if you take the time to discover what you are made of, that is what are your patterns in life, you will discover the roadmap to living all you were created to be.
We are all unique and different and yet we spend enormous amounts of time, energy, and money trying to be someone else. It is time we stop the madness and take ownership for our lives.
I worked in the corporate world for more than 15 years in the accounting and finance departments. After working a few years in my career I came to the realization that what I did lacked meaning and satisfaction.
Even though I knew this, I was not ready to share out loud my desire to do something else with my life as I was afraid of disappointing my family, I was afraid of losing a great salary, benefits, position, prestige. I was afraid of what others would think of me and that they might label me as immature and even ungrateful because through the eyes and expectations of others my life looked really good, you could say I had achieved the “American dream”.
However, the more I was promoted and the higher the salaries the more unhappy and dissatisfied I became, the idea of continuing to advance the corporate ladder made me nauseous. After being only eight months at my last job I decided it was time to resign and get off the rat race train.
Today I am a recovering professional woman from the corporate world. I decided if I was going to work as hard as I did it would be for myself. I asked myself "What peaks my interest when I surf the web or browse in a bookstore aisle?" Without hesitation what came to me were real estate, coaching and travel. After living a left brain type life, I decided to pursue and explore these interests. I became a realtor and a life and business coach. Leaving the world of working 60+ hours per week for someone else has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
This is part of whom I was born to be. In 2013 I started listening again to that call interior to start something new, where I could combine the coaching tools I learned with my passion for entrepreneurship to help other people expand their vision, the quality of their lives, their finances and literally open up to a world without borders.
I found podcasting to be the perfect platform to realize this vision and I embarked on the journey of learning how to create a podcast, which full disclosure here I am not a mechanically inclined person, and launched the Hispano Entrepreneur Podcast in November of 2014 where latino entrepreneurs throughout the world share their entrepreneurial journeys and thus inspire others to birth or fire up their entrepreneurial dreams.
Being a podcaster has been both a lot of hard work and inspiring. I get fired up every time I record a podcast interview with a new entrepreneur and I get really inspired when I hear from the podcast listeners how the journeys we share with them have had a positive impact in their lives.
This was a true leap of faith for me, I saw a market need, I did not know how to go about it and yet I knew the right people and tools would show up as long as I was willing to step out of my comfort zone and take a risk.
As many challenges in life, it took a few stop and start stunts to close a door on something that is gratifying and financially rewarding to open another door that was full of uncertainty and needed building from the ground up. However, I knew the same guidance that was giving me this calling would also give me everything I needed for the journey, all I needed was to take another leap of faith, get out of my new comfort zone and risk diving into the unknown.
I believe life coaching should be available to everyone who will commit to transforming his or her life by doing the work necessary to bring about change. I believe we were all born with unique gifts and talents that need to be explored, found, polished and shared with the world. I believe you have a voice that needs to be heard, a full life that needs to be lived.
I know that coaching will help you find the strength and courage to live that life that your soul desires. It will not be easy nor will it happen over night. However, if you are willing to invest in yourself, do the work with patience, perseverance and discipline you will start living a life beyond your wildest dreams.
As I continue to evolve as a life and business coach and entrepreneur there will invariably be challenges that will sprout in me further growth. As I learn from the great teachers in the entrepreneurial and coaching space I acquire new ideas that deepen my knowledge and mastery of the tools. I am passionate about living an authentic life sprinkled with joy, curiosity, wonder, awe, purpose and service.
My desire is to collaborate with others, who like me, are asking themselves "what did I come here to be, feel, create". I know there is nothing more powerful, more sensual, more inspiring than a person who stands confidently in the power of their life's purpose.
